Discipline Plan - Graceville Elementary Music

In music class, we are striving to improve our behavior as well as our musical skills.  Our rules are very simple.

1.                  We pay attention, follow directions, and participate in all activities to the best of our ability with a positive

attitude.

2.                  We keep our hands and feet to ourselves.

3.                  When sitting, students must sit with hands, legs and feet to themselves.

4.                  We must raise our hand and wait for permission to speak.  We do not talk to neighbors or make

unnecessary noises.

5.                  We respect adults and students in every way possible.

6.                  We take care of equipment and supplies and only use them with permission from the teacher.

7.                  We use the restroom before special area classes.

8.                  Sandals or loose shoes are not worn to music class for safety reasons.

If behavior becomes a problem, students are given a warning.  After a warning, each incident is documented by the
teacher.  All instances of inappropriate behavior that must be documented result in a lower conduct grade on following
progress report.  The average of each progress report and the final conduct grade is used to determine the conduct
grade for report cards.

Thank you for your cooperation and the opportunity to work with your child.

Sincerely,
