Orff Ensembles >
Orff Ensembles will be offered again in 2009-2010. Orff Ensemble is available as
an elective to students in grades four and five. Rehearsals will be held at 7:15 a.m.
each Tuesday and Thursday morning when school is in session. Performances are
held in December and March /April of each year. Additional performances are
scheduled as opportunities arise.
Students who have an interest in playing percussion instruments are encouraged to
apply for membership. Attendance at rehearsals and performances is required.
Attendance at rehearsals is necessary for progress. Remember only those
students with 85% rehearsal attendance can be considered for high music honors.
